Parked out past the edge of town, where the pavement gives up and the desert takes over. A black El Camino, chrome still catching what light there was, the mountains low and blue behind it. Nobody around. Just the car, the dust, and the kind of quiet that makes you slow down and look. I shot it in black and white because the desert had already taken the color out of everything anyway. You just shoot.
