    We create campaigns, editorials and ongoing visual content for hospitality, brands, homes, restaurants, products, and the people behind them.

    The goal is not simply to make beautiful photographs. It is to build a body of imagery that gives your brand a clear point of view and works across web, social, print, press and wherever else it needs to live.

    Based on the Northern California coast and available wherever the story takes us.

  • Fora began as Serge's idea in 2019.

    In 2021, he reunited with his childhood friend Haylie, and the studio became something they could build together.

    Serge brought a background in photography, art direction and design. Haylie brought strategy, production and the business behind the work. That division still defines Fora today, and the same two people remain involved in every project.

    Since then, we have worked across New York, Montréal, Italy, Texas and California, with projects spanning hospitality, fashion, interiors, food, celebrations and editorial storytelling.

    Today, Fora is based on the Mendocino coast, creating work locally and around the world.

  • It starts with a conversation before anything gets made.

    We want to understand what you are building, who needs to care about it and what the imagery actually needs to accomplish. From there, we shape the concept, visual direction and shot priorities together.

    On set, we work in two layers: the polished imagery a brand needs and the quieter moments happening around it. Film and digital are used intentionally, depending on what the story calls for.

    We also prefer relationships over one offs. The best work happens when we get to know a brand over time, build on what we have already created and develop a visual language together.

  • A small team means fewer handoffs and a more connected process.

    Serge leads photography, art direction and design. Haylie leads strategy, production and the client experience. You work directly with both of us from the first conversation through delivery.

    We come prepared, but we leave room for what happens naturally. The goal is for the process to feel considered without becoming rigid, and for the finished work to feel like you rather than a version of us imposed onto it.

  • Fora comes from forum, a place where ideas are shared.

    That idea still shapes how we work. We believe the strongest creative work comes from collaboration, not from arriving with an agenda and asking a client to fit inside it.

    You know your business, property or story better than we ever could. Our job is to listen closely, understand what makes it distinct and translate that into something people can see and feel.
